This Fall, a group of Lutheran Northwest students decided they wanted to find a way to give back to the community. These girls joined together to create their own on-going service project centered around donation drives, and Be the Joy was born!

The group started the year with a Halloween Drive that gave their fellow Crusaders the opportunity to donate costumes, toys and candy. And the Crusaders stepped up. The final haul in late October included 55 costumes, 56 bags of candy and 42 toys and props, which all went to Grace Centers of Hope.

Now Be the Joy has kicked off a Thanksgiving Food Drive for Grace Centers of Hope, and they hope to be even more successful in encouraging the Crusader family to donate! Bins for canned and boxed food will be at the Lutheran Northwest front entrance until November 19th.
