DEAREST SENIOR CLASS AND PARENTS-
As a family, we are KEENLY aware of how hard this last quarter of school has been... we are very in touch with how much you have “lost,” and please know how much we feel that we’ve lost with you as well. We miss seeing your faces- we miss hearing your voices- we miss all of your “lasts” that we have so long been looking forward to sharing with you!
While what we do cannot change what has been- we do want you to be able to look back at your Senior year and your time at LHNW with fond memories, and we REALLY want you to know how much we love and cherish each one of you!
To that end- the Student Council has planned an event that is meant to honor EVERY Senior from the class of 2020!!! We would like to invite the seniors to
Friday Night Lights: Senior Farewell Chapel - an Event to Honor and Celebrate the Class of 2020!!!
On Friday, May 29 at 8:00 pm the seniors are invited to come to LHNW and park their car in the parking lot (we will help guide vehicles to the appropriate spots). We ask at this time that students remain in their vehicles and do not congregate or socialize outside of their vehicles in order to maintain and respect proper social distancing guidelines. Please feel free to decorate your cars to reflect your accomplishments... YOU’RE GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL!!!!
StuCo and the faculty and staff of LHNW have a special “drive-in” movie/chapel event scheduled in your honor!!! We will begin our event exactly at 8:20 pm (20:20- military time)!! We will enjoy some fun times with special messages from your teachers and memories of your classmates!

SENIOR GRADUATION CAPS AND GOWNS
Graduation caps and gowns will be delivered to all senior families next week. Senior families can expect the caps and gowns to be delivered on either Wednesday, May 20, Thursday, May 21, or Friday, May 22. More details will be provided once we finalize the delivery schedule.
VIRTUAL HONORS CONVOCATION
Next week Wednesday, May 20, Lutheran Northwest will be releasing a recorded virtual Honors Convocation. We want to be able to celebrate the various achievements of our students, but are unable to gather in person for this very special event. As a result, we will still be giving out the awards, but through a recorded video. More information to come...!!!
Returning Textbooks & Locker Clean Out
As we approach the end of the school year, students will need to return textbooks and also clean out their lockers. When returning textbooks, please return the textbooks to the room of the teacher they belong to. If you need to clean out your locker in order to take home any of your belongings, garbage cans will be placed in the hallway to properly dispose of any items you wish to throw away.
We have created the following schedule to ensure that students are maintaining proper social distancing guidelines and are not all congregating at once in the building.
Seniors
Seniors can return textbooks and clean out their lockers on the following days anytime between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm:
Tuesday, May 26-All seniors with a last name that begins with an "A-J"
Wednesday, May 27-All seniors with a last name that begins with a "K-O"
Thursday, May 28-All seniors with a last name that begins with a "P-Z"
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors
Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors can return textbooks and clean out their lockers on the following days anytime between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm:
