Crusader Artists Get Creative with Commissioned Portraits
Earlier this Fall, Lutheran Northwest Art Teacher Mr. Jeff Davis shared with the rest of the faculty that this year’s Senior Art Portfolio students have a special love for portraiture. In an effort to help them use their talents and beautify the school, Mr. Davis asked the faculty to supply names of famous figures in their field so that these students could draw portraits which could then hang in each teacher’s room on permanent display.
Check out the two portraits students have completed! Abraham Lincoln was drawn by Austin West for one of our social studies classrooms and Mexican Artist Frida Kahlo was drawn by Adria Dixon for the Spanish classroom.
Impressive work, Crusaders!
