Spring Musical: Godspell
Lutheran Northwest’s Thespian Troupe #4216 presented its Spring Musical, Godspell, on May 20, 21 and 22, and it was a huge success!
One of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time, Godspell is based primarily on the Gospel of St. Matthew. This makes its themes familiar territory for us as Christians, but the relative newness of the play’s presentation gives us the opportunity to view these scenes with fresh eyes.
The cast and crew of the Lutheran Northwest production included a significant number of Seniors. The Class of 2022 has blessed our school with MANY talented Thespians, and these Crusaders will definitely be missed as they move on to the next “stage” in their lives. Godspell was perhaps the ideal show in which to say farewell to this amazing group as well as to our 2021-2022 drama season.
