Crusader Choristers Earn Regional Honors

Lutheran Northwest is thrilled to share the news that two members of our Concert Choir were selected for Regional Honors by the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA).

Seniors Greta Leidecker and Rachel Schmitt earned their spots through an application process and a very intense individual audition involving a 4-minute a cappella solo sung in Latin! As pictured below, these ladies participated in a Regional Honors Choir Concert on Saturday, December 2, at Anchor Bay High School.

Rachel has now advanced to the State Honors level. She’ll be participating in a clinic and concert with the top 180 high school choristers in Michigan as part of the Michigan Music Conference in Grand Rapids next month.
